Leverage iluminr Threat Alerts to get ahead of threats and assess key business impacts, keeping you ahead of social media sentiment, weather warnings, cybersecurity breaches to physical security incidents.
How do I create a threat alert?
Log in with your iluminr credentials.
On the home screen, select Threat Intelligence or ibn the vertical menu, click Threats.
Click the Add Alert icon.
The threat alert creation slide-out panel will enable you to create the alert, without leaving the page you are on.
Select the threat type(s) you want to monitor in this threat alert.

Select the threat severity/severities you want to monitor in this threat alert. Learn more at How do I edit my Threat Levels in iluminr?
Click Next.
Select the site(s) you want to monitor in this threat alert.
You can add further text to the message to be sent if the threat alert is triggered. The initial sentence with the blue templated fields contains information taken from the threat intelligence module and cannot be edited.
Once you are happy with the threat alert message, click Next.
Select the recipient(s) to receive the threat alerts. You can select teams, roles, groups, locations or individual contacts depending on how you have set up your contacts. Learn more at Get to know Communications.
Select the message delivery channel(s).
OPTIONAL: To view a list of the alert notification recipients, click Recipients and a panel will appear. This allows you to make any last-minute changes to the recipients list by selecting the radio button.
Once you are satisfied with the threat alert configuration, click Save.
Congratulations, you have now created a threat alert!
Your newly created Threat Alert will now show in the Alerts Library.
How can I see Alerts that have been sent from iluminr?
All alerts sent from the system will display in the communications dashboard. Learn more at Get to know the Communications Dashboard.
