What are Role Sets?

An iluminr Role Set dictates the action plan that a User can see and allows administrators to control permissions within iluminr. Learn more at User & Team management - Action Plans.


How do I see all Users of a Role Set?

  1. Visit https://login.catalysttech.co.

  2. Log in with your iluminr credentials.

  3. Click the library icon.

  4. Click the People tab.

  5. Under the Roles section, select the relevant Role Card.

  6. You will now see all of the Users, who have this Role Set.


How do I create a new Role Set?

  1. Visit https://login.catalysttech.co.

  2. Log in with your iluminr credentials.

  3. Optional: If you have not already created a Contact Group, you need to create one first. Learn more at How do I create a new Contact Group?

  4. Once the new Contact Group is created, it now needs to be associated with a Role Set/s in order for Users of that Role to be able to select that Contact Group from within Notify Contacts.

  5. Click your Profile icon.

  6. Click Admin Login.

  7. On the left-hand side, under Configuration, select Role Sets

  8. Click Add + button

  9. Complete the Role Name, Description, ensure the relevant Access Levels checkboxes are selected, and click the Submit button.

  10. The Role Set will now appear in the People Library. Learn more at How do I see all Users of a Role Set?.

Congratulations, you have successfully created a new role set!


How do I edit a Role Set?

  1. Visit https://login.catalysttech.co.

  2. Log in with your iluminr credentials.

  3. Click your profile icon.

  4. Click Admin Login.

  5. On the left-hand side, under Configuration, select Role Sets.

  6. Next to the Role Set you wish to add the contact group/s to, click the Pencil icon to edit.

  7. Edit the Role Name, Description, relevant Access Levels checkboxes, and click the Submit button to update the Role Set.


How do I delete a Role Set?

  1. Visit https://login.catalysttech.co.

  2. Log in with your iluminr credentials.

  3. Click your profile icon.

  4. Click Admin Login.

  5. On the left-hand side, under Configuration, select Role Sets.

  6. Next to the Role Set you wish to delete, click the Rubbish Bin icon.

  7. In the pop-up, select the Tick icon to delete the Role Set.


How do I give an existing Role Set access to a Contact Group?

How do I assign an existing Role Set to a User?

  1. Visit https://login.catalysttech.co.

  2. Log in with your iluminr credentials.

  3. Click the library icon.

  4. Click the People tab.

  5. Under the Roles section elect the Role Card that you want to add a User to.

  6. Click + Manage Members.

  7. Select the User/s that you wish to have the Role Set and click Save.
