Learn how to manage Event Documents in the Document Panel

When responding to a critical event, you and your team can use the Event Documents section of the Event Room to to collate any relevant documents and materials gathered or drafted throughout the event in one centralised, easy to access location.

The documents feature can be accessed from any active Event Room.


Where can I find Event Documents?

  1. Log in to iluminr

  2. Select the Event Rooms dashboard.

  3. Click the Event Card for the Event you are responding to.

  4. In the quick-links section of the Event Room, select Documents

  5. The interactive documents panel will appear on the right-hand side of the screen, enabling you to collaborate and respond with documents without leaving the event room.


How do I create an Event Documents Folder?

  1. To Create a New Folder click Documents and then under the Event documents section, click + Add New Folder.

  2. Enter the Folder Name and then click the tick icon to save the folder.


How can I view or download a Document in the Event Room?

To access existing documents in either the resources or event documents section, click on any existing folder to expand the documents stored, click the three dots, then select Download and the document will automatically download.


How do I Upload a Document in the Event Room?

To upload a document click the upload icon, then select Upload File, select the document you wish to upload.

How do I Delete a Document in the Event Room?

To delete a document click the three dots, then select Upload File, select the document you wish to upload.

There are several special characters that are not allowed in file names. Using these characters in a file name can result in errors or make it impossible to access them.

In addition to these special characters, certain reserved words and device names cannot be used as file names, such as CON, PRN, AUX, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9.
