How do I enable iluminr Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

This guide will take you through how to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your iluminr user account.

What is Two-Factor Authentication?

iluminr Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an additional layer of security to your account. When 2FA is enabled for your account, each time you log in you will be required to enter a one time pin (OTP) from your Authentication app.

Before you start

  1. You will need to have your iluminr account details

  2. Your selected Authentication App, such as:

How do I enable iluminr 2FA?

  1. Visit https://login.catalysttech.co.

  2. Log in with your iluminr credentials.

  3. Click your profile image and select Profile.

  4. At the bottom of the page, select the Two-Factor Authentication checkbox

  5. Log out of iluminr

  6. Log back into iluminr

  7. Have your authenticator app ready - and select Add New (or add new account, depending on the authenticator app you are using)

  8. Scan the QR code presented by iluminr after you log in with your Authenticator app

  9. Enter the unique code from your Authenticator App

Congratulations, you now have 2FA enabled!

Each time you log into iluminr from now on you will be required to enter the unique code from your authenticator app.
